This past weekend I went to salamanca and Segovia with 3 girlfriends. They are beautiful towns! We went to Salamanca Thursday and explored the town. Very picturesque....we checked out some churches and basically explored and took pics of everything.

and as it is a college town, we went out at night. And it was soooo much fun. The night life was amazing. All the bars were incredibly decorated and there wasn't a cover and drinks were cheap and the music was good to dance to.

Then we repeated Thursday on Friday. Only it was rainy so we spent a couple hours in a coffeeshop playing a board game.

ThenSaturday we went to Segovia off of 2 hours of sleep. But we surprisingly did well. We saw the Catedral de Segovia. HUGE! and beautiful. Then  we saw the Sleeping Beauty castle...i think it was called Patronato del Alcazar de Segovia. And we counted the 152 steps up the tower....they were steep. but the views were beautiful.

and there were storks all over in those towns. All making huge nests in trees and balconies and towers and in churches. i have plenty of pics. i will put them up later when i get all the photos from the other girls as well.

this weekend, i may go to Zaragoza....and then on March 7th....PARIS!!!!!!!....followed by London and Dublin!
