So, it has been great here! Today was about 60 degrees, I"m done with finals, life is good. I start new classes on Monday, Not sure what yet so i'm going to sample about 10 different classes between Monday and Tuesday to see what I like best. I'm definately taking my spanish classes again and a gym class....probably archery this semester. I don't know my grades on all my finals yet. Basically i hate the system here....all the other foreigners agree with me. How they do it here, is basically you have a final and that's your grade. but it's not as simple as that. You'd think that ok you need to know everything from all semester so you just need to know a broad outline of everything...NO.....you need to know every little thing about every little thing. As in, the people here study 2 weeks straight, 8 hours a day for a final. It's insane. I don't understand how someone could cram to the point where they just memorize everything for a 2 hour exam....i'd forget it all prompty after, plus it's irrelevent to remember every little detail. Ok, now that i'm done complaining about the Spanish system. i know i got a 9 on my Spanish final. A 3 on my history, which was a huge surprise because i nailed everything on it and walked away feeling confident....and so now i'm scared to find out what my other two exams are going to be. Whatever, at least I'm learning Spanish and traveling and having the greatest year of my life!!!
